Lily Pond is a self-catering luxury cabin for two, set on a working wine farm off the R43 near Worcester in the Cape Winelands. The cabin's only unit - a double-bedded room with an en-suite shower - opens via sliding doors onto a private terrace, where an outdoor bath overlooks the natural pond. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. A living area flows onto the patio and garden. Wi-Fi and a TV with streaming services are provided, and a kayak is available for guests to use on the pond. With no other cabins in sight and a complimentary wine tasting at BC Wines included, it's an unusually private and polished escape just over an hour from Cape Town's city centre.

The farm sits off the R43, accessed via a well-maintained 8 km gravel road, putting guests well away from town traffic. Lily Pond's natural pond draws rich birdlife and creates a genuinely secluded atmosphere. Nearby, Stettyn Family Vineyards offers award-winning tastings set against mountain views, and the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden is a short drive away. The Kleinplasie Worcester Open-Air Museum offers a living window into Cape farming heritage, while the big-five Aquila Game Reserve is around 90 kilometres from the property.
