Accommodation Description
MM Good Times offers two self-catering units - a Patio Suite and a Pool Cottage - both with private entrances, modern furnishings and ensuite bathrooms with showers. The Patio Suite is ideal for 2 guests, featuring a queen-size bed and compact, comfortable layout. The Pool Cottage comfortably accommodates 2-4 guests with a queen-size bed and a queen-size sofa bed, making it suitable for couples or small families.
Each unit includes a refrigerator, kettle, glassware, dishes and cutlery for self-catering. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi runs throughout the property; the house is solar-powered, safeguarding against power outages. Bath and pool towels are provided. Guests share access to an 11-meter swimming pool with a sea view. From the garden or pool deck, you can see across Walker Bay, with the distant outline of the Hottentots Holland Mountains and, on clear days, even the Cape of Good Hope.
Setting Description
MM Good Times is perched on a small rise above the harbour of Gansbaai, offering views over Walker Bay and the ocean beyond. The garden and pool area are designed to take advantage of these sea views, making them ideal spots to relax and, during whale season, perhaps spot whales from land.
Gansbaai itself is a laid-back coastal village with a long history. It’s known for shark-cage diving and land- or boat-based whale watching (especially between July and November), and offers access to coastal trails, fynbos-covered nature reserves, and scenic drives. The property’s elevated position above the harbour gives a sense of quiet privacy whilst still being within reach of the village and its maritime charm.
