Stonebreaker Country Lodge offers 11 spacious, thatched-roof en-suite rooms nestled in the tranquil Schoemanspoort valley, just 14 km from Oudtshoorn and 11 km from the renowned Cango Caves. The lodge provides a variety of room configurations, including family units, triple rooms, double rooms, a single room, and two honeymoon suites, each with private entrances and covered porches overlooking the majestic Poort and surrounding gardens.
Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with DStv, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, and a hairdryer. Guests can enjoy the sparkling swimming pool, communal braai area, and a hearty English breakfast served on the open-air deck or thatched stoep. Laundry services are available upon request.

Stonebreaker Country Lodge is situated between the mountains, about 15 km from town, heading 11 km before the world-famous Cango Caves.
Visit Oudtshoorn, the principal town of the Little Karoo, where you will be welcomed with hospitality which has become synonymous with the people of the Klein Karoo. The Klein Karoo is an oasis-like setting in a fertile valley cupped by the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountain ranges and originated as a settlement along the Grobbelaars River, which meanders southwards from the Swartberg, providing fertile soil and water for irrigation. Crops such as lucerne, tobacco, fruit, grapes and grains grow here in abundance.
Oudtshoorn is also a wonderful, exciting halfway stopover when travelling between Cape Town and Gqeberha, with the coastal town of George about 56 km away.

How to get there
From Cape Town International Airport (+/ 5 hours drive):
1. Exit the airport and continue on the N2 for 213 km.
2. Turn left onto the R324 and drive 15.3 km.
3. Turn left to stay on the R324 and drive 17.2 km.
4. Turn right onto the R62 and drive 77.4 km.
5. Turn right onto South St/R62.
6. Continue to follow the R62 for 96.9 km to Oudtshoorn.
7. Turn left onto Park Rd and drive 1.1 km.
8. Turn right onto Van Der Riet St and drive 1.2 km.
9. Turn left onto Baron Van Reede St/R328.
10. Continue to follow the Oudtshoorn Road/R328 for 16.3 km
11. Your destination will be on the right at Stonebreaker Country Lodge, off the Oudtshoorn Road/R328, Oudtshoorn.
From Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) (+/ 3 hours):
1. Go from Gqeberha down the Langkloof Valley past Uniondale.
2. Keep straight until you find the Oudtshoorn turnoff on your right.
3. From here, follow the same as above.
Via Baron van Reede Street R328:
1. Head north towards Bloem Street and drive 120m.
2. Turn right into Bloem street and drive 350m.
3. Turn left at the 2nd cross street onto Langenhoven Road/N12/R62 and drive 650m.
4. Continue straight onto Baron van Reede Street/R328 for 2.5 km.
