The Manor House, dating back to 1838, offers an old-world charm and offers a distinctive glimpse into the estate's rich history, while each of the two villas provides a sense of contemporary comfort in a beautiful natural setting. The estate's location, within an hour's drive from Cape Town and a few minutes from the historic town of Stellenbosch, makes it a perfect starting point for exploring the nearby attractions.

Beautiful Private Getaway
The house is absolutely stunning. It has beautiful, spacious bedrooms - all with a good view. The fire place is great, warms up the living room and dining room. Braai facilities both indoor and outdoor. Host was lovely and accommodating. Loved every second.

Breathtaking Views
The villa is stunning, very comfortable and spotless clean, it had all the necessary amenities we needed. The views are breathtaking and the air is so fresh. We felt very at ease and secure even if it was quite far up on the mountain as they had 24/7 security patrol. The hospitality manager Willem was so kind and welcoming. He has been very helpful, very responsive to our requests.

How to get there
From Cape Town International Airport:
Exit the airport on Michigan Street, turn left onto Borcherds Quarry Road/M22 and proceed for 700 m;
Use the left lane to merge onto the N2 via the ramp to Somerset West and proceed for 800 m;
Merge onto the N2 and proceed for 18.8 km;
Take Exit 38 for the M9/Macassar Road towards Firgrove and proceed for 550 m;
Turn left onto Macassar Road/M9 and continue to follow the M9 for 1.5 km;
Turn left onto Winery Road and proceed for 4.7 km;
Turn right onto the R44 and proceed for 600 m;
Turn left onto Cordoba Road and continue for approximately 1.7 km;
Turn right to the Taaibosch Wine Estate.
