The River Lodge at Elandspoort is an immersive off-grid bush camp designed for groups seeking an adventurous yet comfortable wilderness experience. Perched above a riverbed with breathtaking views, the camp accommodates up to 10 guests and is fully solar-powered. The main lodge includes a spacious open-plan living area, fireplace, kitchen and bar. Two adjacent bedrooms and two safari-style tents with en-suite bathrooms create a communal but private setup. Outdoor showers, solar lighting and natural materials complement the setting. Ideal for families or groups, the lodge offers a raw yet refined way to reconnect with nature.

Setting Description

This off-the-beaten-path camp is surrounded by towering cliffs, canyons, and untouched veld. Elandspoort's predator-free terrain means guests can safely explore on foot or bike, with excellent chances to see giraffe, zebra, kudu and more. At night, the Milky Way puts on a spectacular show, making this a true Karoo wilderness escape.
