Perfect getaway
What a beautiful setting and home. The Riverstone House was the perfect getaway for my family, including my Golden Retriever. The house was clean, extremely spacious, and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if you need a timeout from work life and would like to take your whole family, and pets with.

This tranquil, pet-friendly, self-catering villa offers an idyllic escape on a working farm. Perfect for family gatherings or intimate getaways, it provides the ideal setting to unwind, relax, and enjoy the serenity of nature. With ample space and modern amenities, The Riverstone House promises a memorable stay, whether you're enjoying the cool shade of the covered patios or relaxing by the Bree River.
The Riverstone House features four beautifully decorated bedrooms with luxurious finishes and fine white linen. With two double rooms and two twin rooms, the villa comfortably accommodates up to ten guests, with additional beds available if needed. Two full bathrooms ensure ample space for everyone, while the open-plan living areas, including a spacious lounge and kitchen, create an inviting atmosphere for family meals or casual gatherings. The villa also includes practical amenities such as a dishwasher, washer, and dryer to make longer stays more comfortable.

How to get there
Apple_Camp Ceres is in Ceres, and the self catering houses are in Wolseley.
For self catering houses Take the N7 highway out of Cape Town, direction Malmesbury. In Malmesbury, follow signs to R45 out of town, to Riebeeck Kasteel. Take turnoff to left to R46 to Riebeeck Kasteel direction. Travelling along the R46 from Riebeeck Kasteel, continue past Hermon/Gouda in Tulbagh direction. Continue past Tulbagh turnoffs to Wolseley, taking the first turn off to the right to Wolseley. Travel through the town of Wolseley, until you reach a Tjunction. Turn right onto the R43. In approx. 2.5km, you will see Hoogwater sign to the right. Take this dirt road, as a right turn off the R43. At the Tjunction, turn left. The road then curves to the right. Follow it, until you reach the Palmietvlei sliding gate. Continue though the gate, past the dam on the left and right. After the dam, you will see a sign to the left, for Famtin. Turn left here for Famtin or Couplespod. Before that, an "office" board. Turn right here for The Riverstone House
