This exclusive retreat accommodates groups of up to four people in the safari-style Jala Tent and the cosy Vayu Caravan. The tent sleeps 2 guests and is furnished with a king-size XL bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and washbasin. The tent also has a private wood-fired hot tub and an outdoor shower. The unit (including the patio) is approximately 80 sq m. Biodegradable toiletries are provided. The open-plan living area features a couch and a fireplace. The unit is equipped with a separate kitchenette. There is no electricity or WiFi inside the unit, only LED lights. The cosy refurbished caravan is furnished with a double bed. It can be booked for an additional two persons and is located at the outdoor kitchen area. There is a bathroom with a shower. The private safari-style bush kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, a gas fridge, and a firepit. It is situated on a hill, approximately 200 m from the Jala Tent as indicated in the photos. Wi-Fi facilities and solar power points are available at this area. Daily wood and firelighters are included. Additional wood can be purchased per crate.

The Jala Luxury Tent offers a king-size XL bed, an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath overlooking the dam, an outdoor shower, and a cosy lounge with a fireplace and kitchenette. Outside, a private wood-fired hot tub invites stargazing and deep relaxation, all completely off-grid and free from Wi-Fi or electricity. The Vayu Vintage Caravan, a restored classic, provides an additional double bed and sits near the open-air bush kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge, and firepit. Solar power points and limited Wi-Fi are available here, along with daily wood and firelighters. Guests can self-cater or pre-order locally prepared “Skof-Tin” meals for collection in Calitzdorp.
