Accommodation Description

Vineyard House is a modern, fully self-catering two-bedroom private house on a working vineyard farm, approximately 30 km outside Worcester and about 1.5 hours from Cape Town. Completely surrounded by 360° views of vineyards and mountain ranges, the property sleeps four guests across two bedrooms — a main room with a queen-size bed and a second room with twin beds. The open-plan living area features a wood-burning fireplace, TV with Netflix and DStv, and a fully equipped kitchen. A stoep opens directly onto a private splash pool, braai area, and uninterrupted vineyard views. The highlight of the main bedroom is an outdoor shower overlooking the vines. With no houses nearby and no mobile signal on the farm, Vineyard House offers complete privacy and a genuine escape from daily life, with complimentary Wi-Fi available at the cottage and a complimentary wine tasting at BC Wines included for all guests.

Set on a working grape farm off the R43 between Worcester and Villiersdorp, Vineyard House sits amid the striking landscape of the Breede River Valley, flanked by multiple mountain ranges and a patchwork of vineyards. The area is a natural playground for those who enjoy the outdoors - mountain bike trails and walking routes run directly from the farm, and rowing on the Breede River is on the doorstep. On the farm itself, guests can explore Khoisan rock art in the nearby mountains, keep an eye out for small antelope and rabbits, and share the property with over 80 peacocks. The surrounding region is rich with wine estates, including BC Wines and the Robertson Wine Valley along Route 62. Worcester (32 km away) offers the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden, craft beer at Klipbokkop, and the Fairy Glen Private Game Reserve for Big Five experiences.
