Accommodation Description

Casa Baleia is a spacious, 12-sleeper beachfront house at Casa Malcampo - ideal for groups or families seeking a shared self-catering getaway. The villa extends over two levels and comprises six double bedrooms, two of which are en-suite; the remaining four rooms share two bathrooms (one of those with a bath + shower, the others with shower only). Inside you’ll find a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The living area flows onto a wrap-around balcony offering panoramic sea views reaching as far as Whale Shark Point and Tofinho Beach. 

The house is self-catering: kitchen includes fridge, freezer, gas stove and all essentials; linen and bath towels are provided, and each bed comes with a mosquito net. Fans are installed in every bedroom for comfort during warm Mozambican evenings. Daily servicing is provided - and laundry can be arranged at extra cost. Guests also have access to communal amenities such as a swimming pool at Casa Malcampo. 

Setting Description

Casa Baleia sits right on the coast in Tofo/Tofinho, overlooking the warm Indian Ocean along Mozambique’s Inhambane Province, with an average sea temperature of around 24 °C. From the villa’s balcony, the sea stretches out to the horizon — offering sweeping views of waves, the reef-lined coast, and sunrises or sunsets. The setting combines a beach-house vibe with easy access to Tofo’s lively village life: local restaurants, dive shops, surf schools and laid-back coastal lifestyle just a short walk or ride away. 

The surroundings offer a range of water-based activities - diving among reefs, surfing, snorkelling, boat trips to spot marine life, and beach walks at leisure. The villa’s generous size and layout make it a comfortable base for groups who want privacy when needed (bedrooms spaced out) yet shared communal spaces to gather, cook, dine and enjoy ocean views together.
