I would go back to Mushara
A lovely relaxed lodge within a few minutes of Etosha gate. It has an exceptionally nice and large pool, unlike most of the tiny pools we found elsewhere. The chalets are excellent and service and food was good. We were also entertained with (non threatening) wildlife wandering about - antelope, banded mongooses, warthogs
Great Lodge
Amazing lodge with stunning spacious chalets. Food was nicely prepared and tasty. The lounge was a beautiful place to relax and the pool was lovely for a swim after a hot game drive. Game drives were excellent and we saw lots. The guides were very experienced.
Mushara Bush Camp impact highlights
Just as the Pampe family saw the need to improve their self-reliance on fresh fruit and vegetables, there was an awareness that the community in the area had to learn new skills to turn happy guests into repeat guests. A number of the key front line staff at the Collection began in entry level positions and have thrived under Mushara’s ‘people first’ philosophy. There are a number of staff approaching 15 years of service, so it isn’t surprising that guests frequently rate them the best in Namibia. This is real testimony to the supportive and inspiring environment in which staff develop here.
