Kingfisher Creek Lodge is a small intimate safari lodge located in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, 400 hectares of prime bushveld on the borders of the Greater Kruger National Park. Gugulesizwe Camp is located in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. If you visit the camp during the whale season, you're most likely to randomly spot passing humpback whales from Gugulesizwe Camp’s hilltop location, just 4km inland. A bit different in feel to the humid seaside forest, ‘Gugs’ (as it’s affectionately known) is known for having beautiful early morning and late afternoon light shining on the camp's sea of grass. Sitting over the magnificent snorkelling site at Lala Nek, Gugs has all that is need for a perfect getaway with your people.
The camp has 7 en suite rooms (plus one family room with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom), as well as the bar, kitchen, lounge, pool deck and boma. When it's time to enjoy the ocean, guests can go on a shortdrive with the camp's 4×4 and enjoy the endless beach, rockpools, and all the wildlife-spotting possibilities that Maputaland offers. At Gugs guests can set their own schedule, guided only by the tides and their own desires. This is your time, and you have all the freedom to choose how they want to spend it, and Gugulesizwe will deliver.
*4x4 vehicles are required to access the camp and to travel between the camp and the beach – if guests do not have a 4x4 vehicle, they can safely park at Gugulesizwe's parking lot in Manguzi and a transfer can be arranged at an additional cost.

Gugulesizwe's rooms are very homely and yet still has the camping feel to it. The room has concrete plinth floor, canvas and shade cloth walls and the tin roof that make you feel like you're sleeping outside. Guests get to listen to the soft sounds of the Maputaland night in absolute comfort. There are both standard rooms and one family room, linked to each other and the main area by sandy paths, and have bedding and shower towels (but not beach towels), and 220V power points.

Unwinding and spending time with family and friends… that’s what Coot Club is all about. Coot Club is situated on 464 hectares of private nature reserve on the banks of the Klein Rivier Lagoon, just 2 hour’s drive from Cape Town. The scenery is breathtaking, especially during the sunset hour, when the low sun drapes the lagoon and opposing mountains in a golden cloak.
In this majestic setting, the goal is to (re)connect with family and friends, eat great food, play and participate in the conservation of this unique ecosystem. Canoe, SUP or sail in the lagoon, go on walks or grab a bike to discover the area. Or simply relax and play lawn and board games with your loved ones. It’s about enjoying a rich experience together.
There are various accommodation options available at Coot Club with two different offerings. The Boathouses are located along the lagoon shoreline and are nautically inspired. You can choose between a 2 or 3 bedroom Boathouse, ideal for families or groups of friends. Each Boathouse has a spacious and airy open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen with a fireplace and bedrooms leading off this space. Fold-away doors open up completely with stairs leading down to a grassed area and the fynbos beyond. There is no space to braai/bbq at the Boathouse because of the proximity to the fynbos. The Cottages areoriginal limestone cottages and retain the charm of typical stone buildings tucked into the Milkwood forest, with beautiful outdoor seating and entertainment areas. They are spacious and down to earth, perfect for a family or group getaway.
All rates at Coot Club include breakfast with the option of enjoying lunch and dinners at the Coot Club Clubhouse, as well as making the most of the bar (at an additional cost). The accommodation has fully equipped kitchens if it is your first choice to self-cater but if you want to sit back and relax, then make the most of the Clubhouse and its delicious food.

Coot Club's Lawns Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage which has the option to add the Little Lawns 1-bedroom studio, making it ideal for 2/3 couples or families. The cottage is built from beautiful Mosaic limestone, with a large veranda overlooking beautiful fynbos gardens teeming with fantastic birdlife. Stonehaven Eco Cabins &amp; Farm is self-catering accommodation in Hemel en Aarde Valley, in the Western Cape, South Africa. Situated at the foot of the Babylon Toren mountain range, Stonehaven is a wonderful escape with eco-cabins that are modern and homely. The small Hemel en Aarde Valley farm is a tranquil, calm space ideal for re-energising.
The eco-farm is not far from Hermanus and a prime spot to explore the Hemel en Aarde wine route. There's plenty of things to do - from farm walks, mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding, to whale watching and browsing the many art galleries Hermanus has to offer. Stonehaven Eco-Farm is right next to the De Bos Dam which is great for swimming and kayaking trips in the summer. For the cooler months, Stonehaven offers indoor fireplaces and outdoor wood-fired Kol Kol hot tubs in all cattages to ensure Stonehaven offers a cosy getaway.

Teniqua Treetops, is wonderfully situated in 36 hectares of forest in the Garden Route, 16 km’s from the N2. The 'tree-houses' are off the beaten track, partially off-the-grid and offer a family-friendly experience that is great for birding and hiking, The closest town is 20 minutes away in Sedgefield. All the Teniqua Treetop's suites are nestled within the indigenous Knysna Forest. The suites are located in a gorge, so access is from the ground level, and the front of the suite is built on stilts. Enjoy spectacular views of the Karatara Gorge or the majestic Knysna Forest.

The Kraalbaai HouseBoats are located in the West Coast National Park (SANParks), exactly at the shore of the Langebaan Lagoon. Kraalbaai is approximately an hour drive from Cape Town, South Africa. There are four houseboats at Kraalbaai (The Larus, Eve, The Eden and The Nirvana Houseboat). Guests get ferried to and from their houseboats during their stay at Kraalbaai. The houseboats are ideal for couples, groups of friends or colleagues as well as families. This unique experience gives guests the opportunity of "living on the water" with stunning lagoon views and all nature has to offer on your doorstep. The houseboats have the romantic and cozy feel to them-this makes them perfect for honeymooners too. Guests can take part in water activities right in front of their houseboats. The Kraalbaai HouseBoats are self catering but guests can be catered for on request. Guests are given the space to further explore the area by taking nature/ beach walks or going on a sunset cruise. The houseboats have wifi and cell phone reception. All the necessary braai utilities are available, plus the houseboats have fully equipped kitchens.
There’s a lot that guests can do when visiting Kraalbaai as it is in the West Coast National Park -the untouched nature reserve with a variety of activities such as birding, marine activities, game sightings and biking. Guests can also have a picnic with a view in the park with their loved ones. Biodiversity is very crucial in the West Coast National Park as the park was mainly established to protect the Langebaan Lagoon and surrounding landscapes, as well as the islands in Saldanha Bay, and stretches from Yzerfontein to Langebaan. As Kraalbaai is inside a national park, no motorized activities are allowed - this includes launching your own boat into the water.

Also known as the Boshuis, Sanjika Farm Stay is a two-bedroom home that is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The Boshuis is located in George, South Africa, in an indigenous forest at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains where you are sure to enjoy tranquility and relaxation. It is only a 15 minutes drive from George Airport, but offers a beautiful feeling of seclusion as you are surrounded by birdsong, refreshing mountain air and the sound of the nearby stream. There are many little paths you can meander along on the farm. Sanjika's favourite path winds along the Modder River, through the indigenous forest and ends up at a waterfall and freshwater pool.

The Boshuis has been built for calm, relaxation and restoration. The house has a fully-equiped kitchen, with a four-plate gas hob, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezers. The ensuite bedrooms have king-size, extra-length beds (which can be converted to two single beds on request), soaking tubs with specatcular forest views, and indoor and outdoor showers. There are a number of cosy sitting areas, which include an indoor braai area, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and pizza oven, the aim is to make you feel at home and experience the beauty and rejuvenating powers of nature.
*We recommend using a higher clearance vehicle when travelling to the Boshuis. There are low-water bridges and farm roads, which are often muddy and always bumpy, that you need to navigate to reach the Boshuis.
