he place is magnificent. A perfect getaway from busy City life. You get to connect with nature perfectly. the sounds of the water and the birds are just amazing. The chalets are very private and so in tune with nature. the bathroom allows you to connect with nature still, a super lovely concept. The hiking trails are so lovely and very well marked, and the views in the mountains are extra lovely. Super safe environment and the staff is so friendly

They acquired the property 17 years ago when it functioned as a commercial farm. Over the years, all farming activities ceased in order to restore areas affected by overgrazing. Internal fences were removed, and indigenous game species were reintroduced to the land, fostering a natural habitat. Although not operating as a game farm and refraining from promoting such activities, hunting is strictly prohibited. The property now hosts various wildlife species like wildebeest, impala, kudu, waterbuck, and nyala, all reintroduced by the owners. Additionally, they have actively undertaken invasive species removal, targeting plants like pines and wattles, to encourage the growth of native vegetation. Kleinrivier Mountain Escapes accommodations also runs off solar power.
