Lentaba Lodge offers ten private thatched and stone villas (five Classic and five Luxury) perched above indigenous gardens and wide bush-valley vistas. Each villa features its own observation deck, en-suite bathroom and chilled lounge area, creating a sense of calm privacy even in a busy safari reserve. The main lodge brings guests together via a grand lounge, a sun-facing swimming pool and multiple fireplaces for cooler evenings. Dining is available indoors or out on the viewing deck beside a softly lit waterhole, allowing wildlife to appear while you enjoy your meal. Both Classic and Luxury categories deliver comfort and safari character – the Luxury villas offer additional refinement and vantage. 

Setting Description

Set on a raised hillside in the established and malaria-free Lalibela Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, Lentaba Lodge occupies a position where hillside gardens yield into wild valley bushveld. The reserve spans five ecosystems, enabling rich biodiversity and resident Big Five game without public roads interrupting the experience. Guests arrive via the N2, with the reserve entrance off the highway—making the drive smooth and accessible. At the lodge, every vista counts: from the private decks you may spot elephants, giraffe or other wildlife drawn to the waterhole at dusk. This elevated location delivers a vantage rarely found so close to major transport arteries yet immersed in nature.
