Sanjika Farm Stay, also known as the Boshuis, is a gorgeous self-catering retreat set in an indigenous forest at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains of the Garden Route. Despite its peaceful and far-removed ambience, the farm stay is conveniently located just a short 15-minute drive from George Airport ensuring a hassle-free venture to tranquility and relaxation – perfect for family or friends looking to get away from it all.

The Boshuis at Sanjika Farm Stay can accommodate up to four guests in two en-suite bedrooms, and is fully equipped with everything you need for a private escape in stunning surrounds. Inside there is a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, with a large wraparound patio outside host to more seating and a shaded relaxation space. There's also an outdoor shower, firepit boma, pizza oven, and wood-fired hot tub for extra luxury.

How to get there

From Cape Town: Take the N2, take the George Airport turnoff (R404/Oudtshoorn Road), and turn left onto R404. You will pass George Airport on your left and reach a crossing: please be careful whilst crossing this road. Continue straight on the R404/Oudtshoorn Road until the first circle (5,8km). Cornerstone Lifestyle Centre will be on your lefthand side. Turn left at the circle onto the Witfontein road (dirt road). Continue straight for 1,6km until the TJunction. Turn right at the Tjunction and continue for 500m. Turn left at the Sanjika/Houtboschfarm sign. Continue straight until you get to a silver grey gate with two dark grey pillars on your left. There is a Sanjika Farms sign, as well as a Houtboschfarm sign. Please call Elsa to open the gate. From Knysna: Take the N2 through Wilderness and get onto the highway on your lefthand side just before you enter George Continue straight until you get the R404/Oudtshoorn turnoff (towards George Airport). At the offramp, turn right onto the R404/Oudtshoorn Road. You will pass George Airport on your left and reach a crossing: please be careful whilst crossing this road.
