The staff are amazingly welcoming, friendly and responsive to your every request. The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and clean and well appointed. I was sorry I had not booked an extra night there.

Very clean place and all linen of high quality. Great service and the manager was very attentive to our needs and so helpful really enjoyed our stay! Hope one day we can visit again! Only 10mins away from the Pafuri Kruger Gate so great location.
Awelani Lodge Safari Tents offer a laid-back glamping escape just 10km from Pafuri Gate in the Greater Kruger region. Set within a 1,700-hectare conservancy, these safari tents provide an immersive bush experience with the comforts of home. Guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of the African wilderness while staying in well-equipped canvas tents, perfect for travelers seeking adventure with a touch of convenience. The lodge’s location makes it an excellent base for exploring the remote and wildlife-rich northern Kruger, while also offering scenic walking trails and cultural experiences within the conservancy.
Each spacious safari tent is furnished with two single beds, bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table, and chairs. Guests are provided with linens and towels, and the tents are equipped with electricity and complimentary Wi-Fi. While the safari tents are not designed for self-catering, guests can enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant, which also features a licensed bar. For those who prefer outdoor dining, braai (barbecue) facilities are available.
Located among lush indigenous vegetation, the safari tents blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings of the Awelani Eco-Tourism Park. From JHB/PTA – Take the N1 north to Polokwane, Louis Trichardt, over the Soutpansberg mountain, through the tunnels to Musina (still on the N1).
Go through the Baobab toll plaza and turn right onto the R525, Tshipise Forever Resort – Pafuri (KNP) road. From Tshipise drive straight towards Pafuri. About 88km after Tshipise you will find Awelani on your right hand side.
