Tomo Safari Lodge provides an authentic bush escape in a secluded corner of the South African Wilderness. Setting Description

Situated in the Balule Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park ecosystem, Tomo Safari Lodge sits at the centre of unspoiled wilderness. The landscape stretches across open savannah and woodland, framed by marula, jackal-berry, and knobthorn trees, with the distant silhouettes of the Drakensberg mountains completing the view. Early mornings and late afternoons bring the rhythm of safari drives, where sightings of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino are complemented by encounters with cheetah, giraffe, and countless bird species. Between drives, guests may simply relax and observe animals gathering at the lodge’s own waterhole. Guided bush walks offer a more detailed appreciation of the reserve’s smaller wonders.
