Nkomazi Game Reserve is a private wildlife area, located south-west of the famed Kruger National Park in South Africa. It is surrounded by vast mountains, river valleys and large grasslands - which stretch over 15,000 hectares and give way to a hugely varied ecosystem. This area is known for its abundance of wildlife and birdlife, making it the perfect safari destination for those seeking something more intimate.
Nkomazi Game Reserve is host to just 14 luxury tents, all wonderfully situated on the banks of the Komati River. The tents provide a sought-after safari glamping experience with all the comforts of home, and feature private river-facing decks, spacious king-size beds, lovely relaxation spaces and luxurious outdoor baths and showers. The main lodge is host to a bar, swimming pool, and dining area where breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are served daily.
Considered one of the largest and oldest safari areas in South Africa, The Greater Kruger region is made up of Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands as well as the surrounding private game reserves. The entire area is one of the best places to view wildlife, experience guided walks and explore some of the wildest areas in the country.
When visiting the malaria-free Nkomazi Game Reserve guests are able to experience the magic of an authentic Kruger safari without the crowds, where daily guided game drives, informative bush walks, birding safaris, picnics and spa treatments await. Those looking to simply relax and unwind will be in their element by enjoying game viewing from the comfort of their lodgings.

Weekend spoil
Beautiful small game lodge with accommodation to die for. 5 star ... setting magnificent on the banks of the Komati River. Game is not like the Sabie... bit limited but reserve is quite beautiful. I would say an ideal honeymoon or R and R weekend, anniversary or simply a great getaway for a spoil
