Accommodation Description

Buffalo Thorn Lodge offers an exclusive-use, self-catering safari experience for up to 10 guests in the Black Rhino Reserve of the Pilanesberg National Park. The lodge consists of five beautifully appointed thatched chalets, each with a king-size bed (or twin singles), en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers, and private lounge areas. Two chalets include loft spaces, ideal for children. The main lodge houses a fully equipped kitchen, bar, and dining area, along with a comfortable lounge featuring a home theatre system and pool table. A large wooden deck overlooks a private waterhole, making it a constant stage for elephant, rhino, and buffalo sightings. Guests have access to a swimming pool, heated jacuzzi, outdoor boma with braai area, and shaded relaxation spaces. Daily housekeeping and morning and afternoon game drives with a private guide are included, offering both luxury and authentic bush living.
