Kudu Cottage is a charming self-catering retreat nestled within Izintaba Private Game Reserve, offering a comfortable and inviting bush escape for families, couples, or friends. The cottage blends rustic Waterberg character with modern amenities, featuring well-appointed bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, and an airy open-plan living space. The fully equipped kitchen and indoor fireplace make for relaxed gatherings, while large glass doors open onto a shaded patio with braai facilities and tranquil bush views. Guests benefit from privacy and a sense of seclusion, yet have easy access to all the attractions and activities of the 1,200-hectare Izintaba Reserve. The reserve itself is owner-managed and renowned for its diverse wildlife, scenic landscapes, and warm, personalised hospitality, creating a memorable bushveld getaway that’s as restful or adventurous as you choose. The property is home to a remarkable variety of antelope—including kudu, for which the cottage is named - as well as giraffe, zebra, and prolific birdlife. Nature lovers can explore private walking and cycling trails, enjoy birdwatching from the comfort of their patio, or set out on self-guided game drives. The surrounding Waterberg region is celebrated for its rugged beauty, sandstone hills, and dramatic sunsets. The reserve’s peaceful, unspoiled setting allows guests to disconnect and recharge, while still being just a short drive from the amenities and attractions of Vaalwater.
