Pleasant, relaxing and peaceful
Very pleasant, the owners thought of everything for a stay in this cottage.
De Hoop Cottages offers a serene self-catering farm stay on the working farm Laaiplaas, located 10 km outside Robertson at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. The property features four charming cottages- Adam se Huis, Swink se Huis, Ampie se Huis, and July se Huis, each thoughtfully restored from original farm dwellings. These cottages accommodate between two and four guests, making them ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking a countryside retreat.
Each cottage is equipped with a kitchenette featuring a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, and essential cookware. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor braai facilities, private wooden decks, and cosy interiors with fireplaces and ceiling fans. Linen and towels are provided, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available. The farm's limited cell phone reception ensures a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Nestled in the tranquil De Hoop-kloof, De Hoop Cottages is surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas and pristine natural landscapes. Guests can explore the farm's hiking trails, discover clear mountain pools, and enjoy birdwatching opportunities. The property is conveniently located just a short drive from Robertson's renowned wine estates, restaurants, and shops, offering the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility.
