Accommodation Description
The Gaia Sanctuary Campsite is an off-grid riverside retreat on a scenic organic farm near Swellendam in the beautiful Overberg region of the Western Cape. On this working farm, you can leave your busy city life behind and enjoy a 'back-to-mother-earth' experience, reconnecting with nature and disconnecting from stress. The retreat is home to eight off-grid campsites, all located alongside the river embankment. Guests will need to bring their own camping gear, power banks and lights, however, the firepit, braai area and campsite ablutions are close by, with a cold shower (it gets hot in summer), compost toilet and washing-up station.
