Accommodation Description

Experience the ultimate private escape at the rugged yet scenic Wolwehoek Private Reserve, just a 2.5-hour drive from Cape Town in the small countryside town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It’s here where just two beautiful units – Leopard's Kloof Luxury Camp and Vantage Cabin –allow guests to immerse themselves in the owners' passion for nature, blending classic comfort with wild, untouched surrounds.

With no neighbours for miles, Wolwehoek Private Reserve is the perfect getaway option for those seeking an uninterrupted escape in nature. The accommodations are thoughtfully spaced apart, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious king-sized beds. Overlooking the sweeping valley and mountain views, both the cabin and glamping tent offer unmatched scenery and amenities – with a wood-fired hot tub, plunge pool, giant hammocks and braai/barbecue facilities creating an oasis set against the backdrop of an untamed landscape.

Setting Description

Wolwehoek Private Reserve is tucked away in one of the most scenic parts of the Klein Karoo in South Africa. Adventurers are invited to explore the reserve's footpaths, perfect for leisurely hikes and mountain biking, or rock climbing on the rugged terrain. Nature enthusiasts can also enjoy birding and spotting free-roaming wildlife with provided binoculars and bird books.

Completely unspoiled and far removed from town life, the camp's location is only accessible via a 4x4 vehicle when the weather allows. But once arriving at the gorgeous escape, hidden within the embrace of the surrounding mountains, visitors to Wolwehoek Private Nature Reserve will soon learn the short journey is more than worth it.
