Nuarro Lodge is situated on the Baixo do Phinda peninsula, a hidden gem in the Memba district of Nampula province in northern Mozambique. Surrounded by the wild Mozambican bush, fringed with ancient baobab trees to the back and the aquamarine bay of Nanatha in the front, the lodge is on a 2 km-long, powdery-white beach. The accommodation consists of just 10 two-sleeper chalets, each equipped with mosquito nets, a comfortable lounge, and a big verandah with a hammock to relax and unwind after a long day of activities. Breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner are served in the main lodge area, where there is also a view-drenched deck with seating.
Nuarro Lodge is committed to conserving both the land and the ocean, with a marine reserve established in 2007 to protect and restore the surrounding coral reefs. The reefs have since flourished, providing a vibrant habitat for a diverse range of marine life. While there, guests are invited to explore the beautiful surrounds with an abundance of activities on offer, including snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, mountain biking and more. While the peninsula offers a secluded island-like experience, it is conveniently accessible by car.

Nuarro’s beach is perfect for children of all ages. With low tide the small tidal pool is teeming with marine life and fish. There is also always a conversation to be had with other children on the beach from the lodge and the nearby community.
Nuarro isn't only perfect for safari activities and diving. It's also perfect for romanctic getaways. Dinner next to the beach and picnics were the best! Private beach was an amazing surprise for us! The view from your chalet door will let you forget all worries
