What a pleasure! It was so quiet, the room was very clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was well set up with everything we needed (fridge, microwave, kettle, etc). We'll definitely stay there again if we need a place to stay in Makhanda.

They were very accommodating, and really helped us in a time of need. The Room was clean, the beds were lovely and it is in a quiet area. We had no problem finding the spot and accessing our room. The hostess was very helpful.

Pleasant stay in Grahamstown
The self-catering unit was lovely and had lots of old-world charm, albeit a little hot in Grahamstown in December. It was centrally located in a quiet suburb. Rooms and bathroom were comfortable, but the kitchen was not very clean.

If booked @ A Stone's Throw directions below and the 30 On Oatlands options are situated at 30 Oatlands Road I will email clear map on reservations.
Travelling on the N2 away from Port Elizabeth towards King William's town, when you get to Grahamstown carry on straight approx 1km to the Route 67 Port Alfred Road bypass,
Turn right into the R67 Port Alfred Route (left goes towards George Street) and we are situated 2.2km's along the road on the right hand side you will see a suburb sign marking 'STONES HILL' and a 60km speed limit sign, 100 metres along on the right hand side a green and white reflective sign post with A Stone's Throw aloe emblem marks the spot.
