Great place to stay, an absolute gem. Wish we could have stayed longer. Communication with our host was clear and concise. Everything was ready and the wood was already lit to warm the hot tub. Nothing better to hop into when the sun is setting and the cool winter evenings start creeping

About Spioenkop Eco Cabin
Spioenkop Eco Cabin is a picturesque escape situated on a working cattle farm, just outside of Reddersburg in the Free State, offering a wonderful sense of calm and tranquillity. The cabin has been thoughtfully designed and furnished to ensure utmost comfort as an off-the-grid stay where guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets and sweeping views over the rolling plains.
The four-sleeper cabin offers guests two en-suite bedrooms overlooking the veld, and an open-plan living area that opens onto a wooden deck where a wood-fired KolKol hot tub and an Everdure braai. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for convenience and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table which flows into the cosy lounge with an indoor fireplace.

Spioenkop Eco Cabin is situated on a working cattle farm, just outside of Reddersburg, 50 minutes from Bloemfontein. The cabin offers the perfect detour off the N1 between Cape Town and Johannesburg where guests can kick back, relax and enjoy the untamed beauty of the Free State.

How to get there
From Bram Fischer International Airport:
1. Head southeast on Bram Fischer Airport Rd for 400 meters.
2. Continue straight onto Bram Fischer Airport Rd for an additional 600 meters.
3. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to remain on Bram Fischer Airport Rd, covering 600 meters.
4. Continue onto Bloemfontein Airport for 270 meters.
5. Make a right turn to merge onto N8, heading towards Bloemfontein, and drive for 500 meters.
6. Merge onto N8 and continue for 2.1 kilometers.
7. Take the exit onto M10 and travel for 750 meters.
8. Merge onto M10 and proceed for 8.9 kilometers.
9. Turn left onto Oliver Tambo Rd/M30, covering 4.4 kilometers.
10. Continue onto N6 in the direction of Aliwal North/East London covering 50.6 kilometers.
11. Make a right turn onto R717 and travel for 8.6 kilometers.
12. Turn right onto the gravel road, continuing for 2.2 kilometers.
13. Turn left and continue for 2 kilometers.
14. Turn left and continue for 300 meters to reach Spioenkop Eco Cabin.
