The cottages at Peace of Eden Vegan Nature Lodge offer a rustic, self-catering stay surrounded by forest and gardens just outside Knysna. These four off-grid cottages vary in size and layout — from cosy two-sleepers to spacious family options — but all are infused with the lodge’s signature eco-friendly, bohemian charm.
Each cottage is individually styled, with wooden floors, vintage furnishings, fireplaces or heaters for winter months, and private outdoor areas to enjoy the birdsong and forest air. They are fully equipped for self-catering and include solar or gas-powered lighting and appliances. The cottages are ideal for couples, friends, or families looking for a laid-back and grounded stay in nature, while still enjoying creature comforts and privacy.

Situated on Rheenendal Road in Knysna’s forested outskirts, Peace of Eden’s cottages are surrounded by tall trees, garden paths, and natural beauty. The property is rich in birdlife, with forest trails winding through indigenous vegetation, and it’s a short drive from Knysna Forest, Jubilee Creek, and the town itself. The setting is quiet and reflective, making it a perfect base for those wanting to disconnect and be surrounded by nature.

We are just outside Knysna on a charming country road that leads to Rheenendal and the old Gold mining Village of Millwood and Jubilee creek,deep in the ancient forests of Knysna.
Close by there are 5 star Health Spa's, Night Clubs, Outdoor events and many Sports and Music Festivals happen in Knysna during the year.
