360on62 Farm Cottages is a beautiful self-catering escape with breathtaking 360-degree mountain vistas, situated on a working farm only 7 kilometres from the small village of Montagu in the Western Cape. Tucked away in the Little Karoo along the famed R62, this getaway is just a scenic 2-hour drive from Cape Town, guiding visitors through the picturesque stone portals of Cogmanskloof and into the charming town of Montagu. Surrounded by the Swartberg and Langeberg mountain ranges, this historically rich village is cradled in a fertile valley.
Each cottage has undergone beautiful restoration preserving an authentic ambiance with a mix of modern comfort. Despite their compact size, the cottages are thoughtfully equipped with quality linens, towels, tableware, and cutlery, as well as a fridge, gas cooker, and microwave (many of which double as conventional ovens). Each cottage also features a private braai facility on the patio and comes with wood-fired hot tubs, with some offering outdoor baths or showers, along with air conditioning. Intentionally free from distracting televisions, these cottages immerse guests in the serene sounds of birdsong, and the distant calls of jackals, and foxes.
360on62 Farm Cottages is a spectacular hideaway in the Klein Karoo region of South Africa, and offers two communal swimming pools with stunning views of the majestic Langeberg mountains, creating the perfect backdrop for enjoying a sundowner or simply relaxing on a hot day. Each cottage features its own wood-fired hot tub, and there's a first-come, first-served wood-fired hot tub by the dam for shared use. The property includes two communal areas, each equipped with a self-help wood-fired pizza oven, braai/barbecue facilities, an ice machine, an honesty bar, board and card games, and a dartboard.
The farmhouse's communal area boasts a large smart TV for watching big games or hosting movie nights. For larger groups, communal braai areas are available next to each swimming pool, allowing for enjoyable group braais. Additionally, there are two trails for walking, running, or cycling – a 3km trail and a 5km trail. Forget about load-shedding concerns, as the farm gets 85% of its power from solar power for a hassle-free stay.
I really loved the attention to detail-it was brilliant. We stayed in Fish Eagle Cottage and we loved everything about it.

We loved the beautiful, quaint little cottage, we also really enjoyed the hot tub and being out on the patio or taking walks in the farm. It was everything we needed and more.

We love the peacefulness of this place. Brendan and Dale are fantastic hosts, always welcoming and ensuring that our stay was comfortable. Each unit is beautifully decorated, very private, and each has a lovely hot tub to enjoy. The communal area is perfect for get togethers, whether it's a braai or maklng pizzas. The farms has lovely walks to enjoy or to simply sit and reflect at the dam. I can't recommend 360 on 62 highly enough. Can't wait to go back

James’s Honeymoon Cottage was the perfect ending to our holiday on the Route 62. We were greeted by an incredible friendly staff member and got a freshly baked steam bread to take with us. The location of this cottage is super private and is fully equipped. The views very incredible and we felt at peace. We really enjoyed lounging in the sun and using the wood fired hot tub as a little splash pool to cool off. I would go back any day!

Yes there is.
The majority of our electricity on the farm is generated by solar power; with generator backup just in case. So you should not even notice load-shedding outages during your stay with us. However, should we have several cloudy days or should something go wrong, please bear with us, we will always endeavor to keep unavoidable interruptions minimal.
You will find wood & kindling under or near your outdoor braai area and a starter pack of fire-lighters in the kitchen (in a tin/bottle). All utensils needed to have a hearty South African braai, including a headlamp, are provided. If you run out of wood, you are welcome to get more outside the Pizza Bar area at no extra charge. Please don’t use wood unnecessarily.
Each cottage (except James’ Honeymoon which has an induction stove) has gas burners for ‘stove-top’ cooking. You need to turn the gas on in two places – firstly at the gas bottle itself and then at the burner. Please turn the gas off in both places after each use.
Drinking Water (filtered rainwater) is provided both in containers on your counter and in the fridge. Tap Water from our borehole is also filtered and fit for drinking.
Yes, there is a communal swimming pool (all children under 12 years old are to please be supervised by an adult).
Yes, we are dog-friendly. Pets are welcome within the cottages and to exercise and explore the farm – however they need to do so under supervision, both to protect other guests and their pets as well as your own pet (as this is a farm surrounded by natural vegetation, naturally your pets may encounter certain threats such as our pool, dam, snakes or birds of prey).
Of course, all children are welcome.
