Lived up to its name
Views upon views of rolling hills, mountains and the like greeted us on arrival on the last leg of our Honeymoon. Proof that not all endings are bad. From the quirky notes to the amazing hospitality, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. On our second night, the heavens opened up, oh my, the stars - what a site to behold. Starry Starry Night lived up to its name. Clean, tidy and fully equipped with essentials. Excited to return again!

Directions For All
After taking the Rietrivier turnoff, follow this gravel road for 4.6km, approx. 5min, always sticking to the main road as it winds through farms. You will pass through some fruit orchards and over three white low water bridges.
Not long after the third low water bridge you will see a black and white sign for Starry Starry Night, turn right at that sign towards the mountain. This is the start of our access road and where your adventure begins :) If you drive through huge grape vineyards that are covered by shade cloth, you’ve gone too far.
The road is a bit bumpy, but looks much worse than it is. Just take it easy and drive slow to stay on the concrete tracks. Follow this road for ±2km (approx. 10mins) as it winds its way up the mountainside enjoy the views!
For GAIA and LUNA
Pass through two blue farm gates – please close them behind you, and hook the lock back in without locking. The second gate has some Starry Starry Night signage on it, enter through that and turn left at the Yellow Bicycle (there is a sign that says "Cottages" with an arrow) and keep left towards the cottages, which you will see on your left. Please park in the carport for your designated cottage.
For NOVA StarDome
Turn right at the NOVA sign halfway along our access road, before you get to the first blue farm gate. Follow the small gravel road to the StarDome.
Welcome to Starry Starry Night, you have arrived. Take a deep breath, exhale, and feel the city stress melt away... :)
The accommodation is pet-friendly to sociable and well-behaved dogs (Up to 2 dogs at Nova StarDome while only 1 dog per cottage at the Mountain cottages).
No, a 4x4 is not needed to get there but the road is not suitable for low sports cars.
