The vineyards, adjacent to the Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve, boast rich biodiversity, and conserving this area is crucial for preserving key species, like the fynbos-scented flora and diverse fauna. Tanagra's commitment to organic components, minimal vineyard intervention, and eco-friendly practices reflects its dedication to nurturing both old vineyards and the farm's biodiversity. Embark on a journey to Tanagra Wine and Guest Farm, where nature, wine, and genuine hospitality converge to create an unforgettable retreat.
The cottage is located in a very private area, surrounded by nature and it is tranquil and peaceful. It is also well-equipped with everything you need. The hiking trail located across the road is stunning, and it is perfect for an early morning walk between vines and fruit trees. The cottage itself is cool and relaxing, and we enjoyed spending time on the verandah while preparing a BBQ. Additionally, the wines are exquisite!

Robert and Annette have a stunning boutique wine farm with beautiful accommodations. We stayed in the 'loft' room, which had a private deck overlooking the dam and stunning sunsets. Their wines and grappa are exceptional.
