The Fort is a beautiful hideaway perfect for larger groups of up to 10 guests. (Please note, the maximum number of guests for The Fort is strictly 10 people as additional people put considerable strain on the infrastructure. This includes small children). The Fort has four bedrooms - three have queen-sized beds (one is an outside room) and one bedroom has four single beds. It offers a separate large pool and entertainment deck, complete with a built-in barbecue. The Fort's outward appearance looks like a fortress, created by locals who hewed local rocks into massive walls. It has a large open-plan dining, lounge, and fully equipped kitchen area that leads out onto an endless view of the Tankwa plains. A raised private swimming pool and deck with a wood-fired hot pool is situated a short distance away, with a partially covered pool deck. An open braai pit with surrounding seating is situated on the NE side of the Fort. Parking for up to five vehicles is available, and out front, there is a dedicated sandy boules court - boules are provided.
