Woodcroft Cottage offers charming self-catering accommodation on an 8-hectare smallholding overlooking the Lions River in Lidgetton. The main cottage accommodates up to five guests across two bedrooms and a passage bed. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has a three-quarter and a single bed. An additional single bed is situated in the passage. The cottage includes a shared bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, and toilet. The living area boasts a fully stocked fireplace, and the kitchen is well-appointed with an oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster.
For couples or solo travelers, the Woodcroft Rondavel offers an intimate setting with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower. This open-plan unit includes a kitchenette with a kettle, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a patio furnished with outdoor seating.

Please note, Google maps will direct you to take the Balgowan turnoff from the N3. This is a dirt road in poor condition, so we suggest you take the Nottingham turnoff from the N3 when travelling from Johannesburg and the Tweedie turnoff when travelling from Pietermaritzburg.
From King Shaka International Airport:
Turn left onto Mdloti Street/M65 and continue to follow M65 for 2.6 km;
Keep right at the fork and merge onto N2 and proceed for 28.8 km;
Use the left 2 lanes to take exit 165 to merge onto N3 toward Pietermaritzburg/Johannesburg and proceed for 7.7 km;
Keep right to stay on N3 and proceed for 89.7 km;
Take exit 107 toward Howick/Tweedie and proceed for 450 m;
Turn left onto Main Road toward Tweedie and proceed for 1.3 km;
Turn right onto R103 towards Lions River and proceed for 10.6 km;
Turn left onto Market Street and proceed for 650 m;
Turn left onto Pietermaritzburg Street and proceed for 160 m;
Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Pine Street, which becomes a gravel road, and proceed for 850 m;
Turn right at the fork in the road and proceed for 2.6 km;
You will reach the Woodcroft sign on the right, continue straight for 240 m;
Turn right at the Hillfold Pottery sign and proceed for 60 m;
Turn right and follow the roard to reach the Woodcroft accommodation.
